Calibration

After you have correctly installed the media and

ribbon, turn the printer on. The printer will

perform a power-on self test. When this is

complete, the display screen will read “PRINTER

READY”.

Perform the Calibration procedure below.

IMPORTANT: Perform the Calibration

procedure when media and ribbon are first

installed and whenever a different type of media

or ribbon is installed.

During this procedure, the printer automatically

determines continuous/non-continuous media,

label length, media and ribbon sensor settings, and

printing method (thermal transfer/direct thermal).
