Preventive maintenance consists of:
• Visual Inspection
• Regular cleaning of the printhead and platen roller
• General cleaning of the printer’s interior and exterior
An operator or technician may perform preventive maintenance (see Table 4-1) from the
preventive maintenance chart.

• Isopropyl alcohol (Recommended solution – 90% Isopropyl and 10% de-ionized
water or use “Zebra’s Preventive Maintenance Kit”, Part Number 47362).
