Do not wear jewelry (rings, watches, etc.) or loose clothing when servicing the
printers.
Beware of “Pinch Points” on the printers. Be especially careful of:
• Opening and closing of covers.
•Printhead
• Rewind Spindle
• Platen Roller
Wear protective eye wear when installing or removing E-rings, C-clips, snap
rings, and springs. These are under tension and could fly off.
For personal and equipment safety, always use an approved three-conductor
power cord specific to the region or country intended for installation. This cord
must use an IEC 320 female connector and the appropriate region-specific, three-
conductor grounded plug configuration.
